My Role

Creative Technologist

Signal is a capture-first tool built for the gap between “I had an idea” and “I made something.” Working offline like a notes app, it lets creatives dump voice memos, photos, and half-sentences in the moment. When internet returns, Gemini automatically processes the queue, finding the through line across fragmented inputs and distilling them into a structured creative direction: mood statement, palette, tone words, composition notes, and the core tension at the heart of the idea.

Background Story

Most creative briefs start as a mess. A half-formed feeling, a photo saved months ago, a voice memo recorded at midnight. Text fragments, images, voice, all dropped onto the canvas freely.

The canvas saves as you work, like a notes app. No submit, no save button. If you lose connection, your thoughts stay. When you're back online, Signal asks if you're ready to distill, it doesn't assume.

The output page is designed around that conviction. It doesn't present information evenly; it has a point of view. The emotional core lands first, the tension, the mood and the feeling, before anything practical is visible. You have to reckon with the direction before you can execute it.

The refine bar at the bottom treats the brief as a starting point, not an answer. You can push it: darker, quieter, more contradictory. The brief talks back.
