An audio-visual installation explores the rise of QR codes worldwide, especially in China where they have become an integral part of modern life, from paying for goods, to identifying senior citizens – and even memorialising the life stories of the dead on tombstones.

Background Story

During 2020 Summer, I was helping artist Yuxi Cao with his audio-visual installation - Dimensional Sampling exhibited in NXTMuseum. In this project, I was working on writing shader as well as designing&developing a website (Vue.js) for Chapter 2 QR code world.
